TRENOR ASKEW
Managing Partner and Co-Founder
Trenor co-founded TRA in 2008 and has led the company through its growth from a house-flipping business into a diversified investment firm with a track record of delivering superior risk-adjusted returns to its clients. Before TRA, Trenor was the Chief Operating Officer at Home Option Inc., a single-family residential real estate investment company that purchased portfolios of homes in quickly growing regions of the United States. He graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in Computer Science and spent five years as a Management Consultant for Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche before moving into real estate.
KENDRICK ASKEW
Advisor
Kendrick is a Managing Director of Multifamily Investments and Co-Head of Acquisitions at Kennedy Wilson. He has been responsible for approximately $2 billion in acquisitions and dispositions at KW and his previous firm, Pacific Urban Residential. Before Pacific Urban, Kendrick co-founded a distressed asset sales group at Voit Commercial and sourced about $250 million in distressed debt. He is a graduate of the USC Master of Real Estate Development Program.

Mark currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Grupe Company, a California-based real estate development company with a 50-year track record of successful residential and commercial projects across the West Coast.
STEVEN CROSBY
Partner & Co-Founder
Steve co-founded TRA in 2008 and provides strategic direction on the company’s investment approach and assists with capital and deal structure. From 1998 to 2014, he was a General Partner and Co-manager of Proximity Capital, a hedge fund he helped grow from inception to $100 million in assets. As an entrepreneur and investor, Steve has co-founded, helped grow, or played a consulting role in various other businesses.
TERESA TOAN
Controller
Teresa joined TRA in 2019 and oversees all accounting, reporting, and tax functions at the company. Teresa has extensive accounting experience in real estate, having started her career as a Staff Accountant for the Hotel Palomar in San Francisco. She went on to focus on tax preparation for corporations and individuals at Tomei and Tonjes, LLP in Lafayette and then to manage accounting for her family’s real estate portfolio at Toan Management Inc. Teresa graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics.
MYLES McGRILLEN
Senior Analyst
Myles joined TRA in 2024 to assist in conducting thorough financial analysis on active and prospective investments via the implementation of a comprehensive underwriting model and internal data tracking systems. Prior to TRA, Myles was the senior analyst at Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) in Palo Alto. In his 3 years at IPA, he was the lead analyst on 30 marketing assignments which represent closings of over $1.25B. Myles graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Economics in 2021.
